Privacy Policy
Budget is a personal budgeting app. It is built so that your financial information stays with you: the developer does not collect, receive, store or sell any of it.
What the app stores
The entries, categories, budgets and preferences you create are stored on your iPhone. If iCloud is turned on for the app, Apple stores and syncs a copy in your own private iCloud account, so your data follows you to a new phone. That copy is protected by your Apple Account and is not accessible to the developer.
Sign in with Apple
Signing in is optional. If you choose to, Apple shares your name and an email address (which can be a private relay address) with the app. They're kept on your iPhone to show your name in the app, and are never sent to the developer. Choosing Delete account in Settings erases them along with everything else.
What the app does not do
- It does not collect personal or financial data, or send it to the developer or anyone else.
- It has no advertising, analytics or tracking.
- It does not share data with third parties.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes the data stored on your iPhone. To remove the iCloud copy, go to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage and delete the app's data there.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date.
